Hillary Clinton Chokes Up Reading Victory Speech She Never Gave
LET’S GET NUTS
Elections, politicians, scandals, corruption. Now that election season is over and the holidays are upon us, in the cold of autumn's breath, let us cozy up and tell tales of presidential scandals past.
Why does the “Democratic” Party continue to shoot themselves in the foot election after election? We’ve seen this cycle repeat for the better part of half a century now. The only breaks Dems have ever gotten in that span of time came in the form of two Neo-Conservative DINOs named Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. Stripping their party of any loyalty for the working class to favor an upper-middle professional class (the ones responsible for the COVID lockdowns), these two presidents were born and bred in an oil and intelligence orgy that rewarded their cronyism with wealth and power. Aside from a few overexposed social issues, they are identical in policy to their “rivals” in Congress. No outsider gains the office, it is given only to those who play ball.
However, there are some who have claimed to feel entitled to the office. Few have been so vocal about deserving the highest office in the land more than Hillary Clinton.
Nut 1 - Hitchens Demons
Every American knows of the Clintons, the dynamic dynasty of power couple Bill and Hillary. Back in the 80s, they were rising stars, making friends with the right factions to garner astounding political support. It has been suggested that Bill Clinton, as governor of Arkansas, was a key player in trafficking weapons, cocaine, and other contraband for the CIA (run by George W. Bush) through Mena Airport during the insane Reagan administration. Bill Clinton’s half brother, Roger, served time in federal prison after being convicted of conspiracy to distribute cocaine in a sting investigation that Clinton himself had authorized, who then pardoned him when he became president. When Clinton left the White House, it emerged that Roger, too, had “sold” pardons to high paying associates and friends.
Nut 2 - Loan Never Repayed
The Lore of the Clintons goes deep, with an insane run of scandals, a well-documented list of dead friends and associates, a collection of unethical nonprofits routinely committing war crimes, and a unique place in popular culture. However, one side of the family that these days has been obscured by the passing of time.
Hillary has (or had) two brothers, Tony and Hugh Rodham. These two have been something of a constant embarrassment for the Clintons (aside from the couple themselves), and in their day used the power of their brother-in-law to involve themselves in a number of international business dealings, many of them ending in failure or scandal. One such attempt was to establish a global hazelnut monopoly.
Nut 2.1 - Embarrassment
Ah yes, the Hazlenut Monopoly in Georgia.
Nut 3 - Georgia
Nut 4 - Strategic Importance
Nut 5 - 3rd Largest Exporter
The hazelnut is the fruit of the hazel tree. Hazelnuts are used as a snack food, in baking and desserts, and in breakfast cereals such as muesli. In confectionery, they are used to make praline, and also used in combination with chocolate for chocolate truffles and products such as chocolate bars and hazelnut cocoa spreads such as Nutella. They are also used to make a liqueur called Frangelico. Hazelnut oil, pressed from hazelnuts, is used as a cooking oil and as a salad or vegetable dressing.
Turkey is the world's largest producer of hazelnuts, accounting for 64% of total production in 2021.
The project, which aimed to process and export hazelnuts from the Black Sea port of Batumi, was a joint effort with a local political boss, Aslan Abashidze. Aslan Abashidze was the former leader of the Ajarian Autonomous Republic in western Georgia. (Andrew the Apostle, who is believed to be a missionary of the Mother of God to Georgia and founder of the Georgian Orthodox Church, entered Georgia from Adjara region and first preached Christianity there.) He served from 1991 to 2004. In 2007, the Batumi City Court found him guilty of misuse of office and embezzlement of (Georgian Lari) GEL 98.2 million in state funds, and sentenced him to 15 years' imprisonment in absentia. He also faces a charge of murdering his former deputy, Nodar Imnadze, in 1991.
Nut 6 - 2009 Controversy
In 2009, the Brothers Rodham were sent to work for GreenTech Automotive, an electric car company headed by Clinton insider and former DNC and Federal Reserve Bank chairman Terry McAuliffe (muh-call-iff).
GreenTech Automotive Under Investigation by SEC and Senate Committee
GreenTech is under investigation for visa fraud by the Securities and Exchange Commission and by the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs for allegedly conspiring with immigration officials. According to emails released by the Senate Committee, GreenTech “absolutely received preferential treatment” by the Department of Homeland Security for the nation’s controversial EB-5 visa program, in which wealthy foreigners who invest at least $500,000 in high unemployment areas can be fast-tracked to a green card. GreenTech allegedly promised returns for 21 foreign investors—an act illegal in itself—while immigration officials placed a “fraud or national security hold” on “all 21” applications, according to the documents.
McAuliffe, a Virginia gubernatorial candidate who ran Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign and chaired the Democratic National Committee, has been silent since resigning from GreenTech in December. He’s tied to GreenTech’s visa investment firm, Gulf Coast Funds Management, which had its bank statements subpoenaed by the SEC in May. That company is run by Hillary Clinton’s brother, Tony Rodham.
Some background on the Clintons
<From Politico>
“It’s extremely common,” said Douglas Wead, a former White House aide to president George H.W. Bush who is a student of presidential families. “Among presidential siblings, there’s often a good sister-bad brother phenomenon. I’m not exactly sure why, but one of my theories is that the black sheep grows up with this star sibling and now all of a sudden, they’re president or prominent and the brother says, ‘Hey, I tied my shoes before he did,’ or ‘I got an A in spelling in third grade and he got a B-minus.’”
“I think sometimes they do bad things because they’re trying to catch up across a chasm,” added Wead, who is writing a study of presidential siblings. “And so they make mistakes.”
The visa flap is far from the first instance in which Tony Rodham or his brother Hugh embarrassed their big sister. In 1999, the brothers organized a company to harvest and sell hazelnuts from the former Soviet Republic of Georgia, and came to be seen as too friendly with a political rival of the country’s president, Eduard A. Shevardnadze, a strong American ally.
That led to a rebuke from Bill Clinton’s national security adviser, Samuel Berger, who pressed the brothers to abandon the effort. When they persisted, saying they intended only to distribute the nuts, the White House press secretary Joe Lockhart scolded them yet again.
After the Clintons left office in 2001, word emerged that Hugh Rodham had taken some $400,000 in fees from a client to lobby for a last-minute presidential pardon from his brother-in-law. “I love my brother,” Hillary Clinton said at the time. “I’m just extremely disappointed in this terrible misjudgment that he made.”
In the Rodhams’ family dynamic, Hillary has always amounted to the high-achieving eldest son her father, also named Hugh, never had, while her brothers bore the brunt of his considerable criticism and exacting standards. When the younger Hugh had his best-ever day as a high school football quarterback—completing 10 of 11 passes and throwing several touchdowns—his father’s only comment was that he should have completed the other pass, according to “A Woman in Charge,” Carl Bernstein’s 2007 biography of Hillary.
