A very large eruption of Hunga Tonga–Hunga Haʻapai, a volcanic island of Tonga in the Pacific Ocean, began on 14 January 2022. Hunga Tonga is 65 km (40 mi) north of Tongatapu, the country's main island.[1] The eruption caused tsunamis in Tonga, Fiji, American Samoa and along the rim of the Pacific Ocean; tsunami warnings and advisories were issued in Fiji, Samoa, Wallis and Futuna, Vanuatu, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Russia, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Chile and Ecuador. Damaging tsunami waves were reported in New Zealand, the United States, Chile and Peru. Two people drowned in Peru when a 2 m (61⁄2 ft) wave struck the coast, and two fishermen in the United States suffered minor injuries. The event is the largest volcanic eruption of the 21st century to date.[2]
Hunga Tonga–Hunga Haʻapai was a volcanic island[2] in Tonga from 2009 to 2022, located about 30 km (19 mi) south of the submarine volcano of Fonuafoʻou and 65 km (40 mi) north of Tongatapu, the country's main island.[3] A volcanic eruption merged the two islands of Hunga Tonga and Hunga Haʻapai in 2009, and a more explosive eruption separated the islands and reduced them in size in 2022. The volcano is part of the highly active Tonga–Kermadec Islands volcanic arc, a subduction zone extending from New Zealand north-northeast to Fiji.[4][5] It lies about 100 km (62 mi) above a very active seismic zone.[5][6] The island arc is formed at the convergent boundary where the Pacific Plate subducts under the Indo-Australian Plate.[6][7][8]
LA Trains Getting Ransacked, Lines Littered With Boxes and Debris

Thousands of Amazon and UPS packages in transit to people across the country were recently found rifled through and abandoned on the side of train tracks in Los Angeles, NewsNation Now reports. Littering the side of the tracks were packages addressed to recipients from Seattle to Las Vegas and other places around the country.
Items in these boxes ranged from family portraits, boots and medications to COVID-19 rapid tests, swabs and PPE. Among the pricier items encountered by Nexstar’s NewsNation was a box of Humira — an arthritis medication that can cost patients more than $6,000.
Union Pacific said it’s seeing an increase in cargo thefts and has had to add more special agents to watch the tracks in the area.
Similar incidents were reported in November as well.
Amazon deferred comment to law enforcement but said any customers missing a package from them should contact Amazon’s customer service to report it.
“Amazon will look into it, try to find a solution/track the package and/or reimburse the customer for their expenses,” a statement from the company said.
“Union Pacific is very concerned about the increased cargo thefts in California, and we have taken several steps to address this criminal activity,” Union Pacific said in a statement. “These rail crimes pose a serious safety threat to the public, our employees and local law enforcement officers.”

“Amazon will look into it, try to find a solution/track the package and/or reimburse the customer for their expenses,” a statement from the company said.
Along with increasing the number of Union Pacific special agents on patrol, the UP is also exploring additional technologies to help combat criminal activity.
“We also will continue to work with our local law enforcement partners and elected leaders,” Union Pacific said.
Union Pacific said its criminal rail theft is up 160% in Los Angeles County over the past year. They estimate there were over 100 people arrested for vandalizing trains during last year’s peak holiday season.
Despite this, Union Pacific said it has not been contacted for any court proceedings. In a letter to L.A. County District Attorney George Gascón, they asked him to reconsider a special directive that states certain misdemeanor crimes, such as trespassing, should be dismissed if there are no outlying factors to be considered.
Union Pacific said in the letter that they understand the policy’s social justice goals, but it also wants to hold people accountable and protect its employees.
Was The Ship Stuck in the Suez Canal Trafficking People?
The Ever Given, one of the largest container ships in the world
Ever Given[a] (Chinese: 長賜輪[pronunciation?][6]) is one of the largest container ships in the world. The ship is owned by Shoei Kisen Kaisha (a shipowning and leasing subsidiary of the large Japanese shipbuilding company Imabari Shipbuilding), and is time chartered and operated by container transportation and shipping company Evergreen Marine, headquartered in Luzhu, Taoyuan, Taiwan.[7] Ever Given is registered in Panama and its technical management is the responsibility of the German ship management company Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM).[8]
On 23 March 2021, while traveling from Tanjung Pelepas in Malaysia[9] to Rotterdam in the Netherlands, the ship ran aground in the Suez Canal. The ship remained in place for six days before salvage crews freed it on 29 March 2021.[10] The vessel was impounded by the Egyptian government on 13 April 2021 for refusing to pay a reported $916 million in fees demanded by the government, including $300 million in "loss of reputation."[11][12] The compensation claim was later cut down to $600 million.[13] In early July 2021, the ship was released by the Egyptian authorities following an agreement on compensation.

WHEN DRAGONS ROAMED THE SEAS
Huge prehistoric 'sea dragon' fossil discovered in U.K. reservoir
The largest and most complete sea-dragon was found in the U.K.. The fossilized ichthyosaur had a 6 foot skul weighing about one ton and was 32 ft in length. It was estimated to live about 180,000,000 yeaars ago.
““It’s the most complete and larger than any dinosaur skeleton ever found here, so it’s a mega-find for so many reasons,” said paleontologist Dean Lomax, who led the excavation.
“During this time period, it would have been right at the top of the food chain. It’s an ultimate apex predator, perhaps one of the biggest animals in the sea worldwide.””
Two other fossils were found in the 1970’s. Bigger ones have been found outside of this site, but of this size is rare.
The ichthyosaurus is a blend of a dolphin and a a shark in looks, and went extinct about 90 million years ago.
This specimen was found in a landlocked county about 100 miles north of London. Apparently, some of the bones were sticking out of the ground, and at first it was believed to be clay pipes.

Life and Death of Marina Abramovic - Trailer
The Life and Death of Marina Abramović (From Robert Wilson's Website)
Premiered at the Manchester International Festival in 2011, The Life and Death of Marina Abramović played to sold-out audiences and rave reviews in Madrid, Basel, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Toronto and New York. For New York's Park Avenue Armory, Robert Wilson created a new staging that used the full sweep of the Wade Thompson Drill Hall.

Abramovic remains mercurial behind thick commedia dell’arte makeup.
The Life and Death of Marina Abramović – review (Guardian)
“Most performers try to avoid dying a death on stage”???
Background on some of Marina’s other performnces. She did a 700 hour silent performance “The Artist is Present” where she spent time one on one with people lined up overnight i the lobby of the Museum of Modern Art.
Marina has stated "to be a performance artist, you have to hate theatre". Guardian also compares DaFoe to the Joker in a Berlin cabaret.
“There are moments that will stay with you forever; others that simply seem to take that long. As always, the question with Abramović's projects has to be: "Why?" And, as ever, the answer seems to be: "Because ..."“
Death Becomes Her: The Life and Death of Marina Abramovic (Village Voice)
The audience walks into the house with three Marinas (two in masks and one is her) onstage portraying her death while a newspaper obituary for Abromovic was left in every seat.
This is one of six biographical works she has done. It’s particularly a biography about her psyche.
“Wilson’s gorgeous stage compositions immerse us in Abramovic’s psychological milestones: Dafoe maniacally rattles ice in a cocktail glass, and we hear about Marina’s mother holding her as a shield against her father’s violent urges — a body on the line. Later, Abramovic, who has also been playing her formidable mother, removes her mother’s mask from her face and becomes herself — an astonishing gesture that shows how she incarnates maternal shadows.”
When she comes of age in the show, she is in Communist Yugoslavia. Soldiers assemble with sirens and bullhorns spouting “An artist should not repeat himself!” “An artist should not overproduce!” “An artist must not steal ideas from another artist!”
“Traditional Serbian music recurs throughout, offering a wailing undercurrent and adding hypnotic, otherworldly dimensions to Wilson’s colorful abstractions.”
“It is an expressive metaphysical pageant, reflecting on how an extraordinary life can defy death through art.”
“The play has been billed as a "quasi-opera," but it may be more of a twisted musical.”
“Although Abramovic once stated that theater is too fake in comparison to performance art, she decided that performing in this play is the best way to reflect her life without being overly personal. Although she is the queen of getting personal (she masturbated in front of a crowd at the Guggenheim in 2005), she needed to separate herself from the pain of her past.”
“Abramovic plays the part of her mother in the play and represents her as a militant and not-so-sympathetic matriarch. The press release describes her mother as "imposing." Although she lived at home until she was 29, the queen of performance art clearly did not have the strongest relationship with her family. This pain is very clear in the performance.”
She is very stoic for this performance, while Willem DaFoe and Antony Hegardy drive the show. Complex alludes that she is watching her own life.
“Considering that many of Abramovic's famous artistic colleagues claim New York City as their home, we would not be surprised to find the likes of Jay-Z (who she danced with during the rapper's "Picasso Baby" performance piece) and her recent collaborator Lady Gaga at the Armory to show some support. Now that she's buddies with Kim Kardashian, we expect some other members of the Manhattan elite to pay tribute to Abramovic and Wilson.”

Robert Wilson. Video Portraits of Lady Gaga
He set designed this, then went on to feature Gaga in Living Rooms.
“The American artist, choreographer, director and perfomer Robert Wilson created a series of video portraits of Lady Gaga, influenced by three classic works belonging to the permanent collection of the Louvre museum: Mademoiselle Caroline Rivière, byJean-Auguste Dominique Ingres (1806) The death of Marat, by Jacques Louis David (1793) and The head of Saint John the, by Andrea Solari (1507). The fourth portrait called Flying, does not derive from the museum's collection. It is a contemporary work, with references from the ancient Japanese rope bondage Shibari.”
The John The Baptist portrait shifts with Gaga’s face and the O.G. portrait’s over 11 steps. Maybe it was the other way around. Also this article says Wilson is from Wako TX.
