One of my favorite rumors going around the dark corners of the internet is that Christine Blasey Ford is actually Brett Kavanaugh, and that in order to become Supreme Court Justice, the honorable Judge Kavanaugh had to put on a dress and makeup and accuse himself of sexual misconduct in a court of law and on national television.

Preface - in 2018, then-President Donald Trump nominated and attempted to install to the US Supreme Court Brett Kavanaugh, a judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Kavanaugh was then accused of sexual misconduct by one Christine Blasey Ford, a doctor of psychology at Stanford, who grew up with him in the rich suburbs of D.C.
If we are to assume that Christine Blasey Ford is a real person, there should be public records and photographs produced throughout her life to prove so. It should be easy to dispel this bizarre and hilarious theory.

Maryland state land records show that Ralph and Paula Blasey (CBF’s parents) purchased a house in Potomac, Maryland in June 1977. According to Montgomery County Circuit Court records, in August 1996 a company called UMLIC-Eight Corporation initiated foreclosure proceedings against the couple. Judge Martha Kavanaugh, Brett’s mother, oversaw those proceedings.
By December of that year, the Blaseys were able to refinance the mortgage, and in January 1997 UMLIC filed a motion to dismiss their earlier petition. Judge Martha Kavanaugh granted that motion on 4 February 1997, thus formally bringing an end to the foreclosure proceedings against the Blaseys.
