12 Rods Prepares To Hit The Road Towards Value

Greetings greetings fellow air hole gazers,
At the end of December of 2023, there were two live shows here in the Minneapocalypse that were wholly unique. Later, in February of 2024 a band out of Pittsburgh streamed their album release. Ainsley Costello, Just Loud, and Herbivore were some of the first musicians through the door into this new universe of Podcasting 2.0, music, and livestreams. If you’re reading this, that means you’re here for the hat trick.
THE WHEN:
April 6th Preshow Stream @ 5:30pm central, show kicks off at 6:30pm
THE WHERE:
Live from Taylor Sound in any podcasting 2.0 app that supports LIT (the live item tag).
THE WHO:
The headliner for this show is 12 Rods, who is departing for a 17 stop tour across the east coast!
THE WHAT:
“The what?” is exactly right! We are continuing the push for live concerts in podcasting 2.0 apps and will be bringing many exciting things to the table! Wowie zowie, what could that mean?? Well, we’ll have an hour long preshow stream of v4v music videos, some behind the scenes set up footage, TWO BANDS (whaaaaa!), and all the wallet switching technology you could shake a stick at! Disco ball that lights up when you boost it? YUP. A boostagram scoreboard projected on the walls? GOSH I HOPE. Multiple camera feeds for that slick production feel? OH YAH BUD. “Are the technicians gonna be included in the split?”. C’MON MAN!
THE ASK:
We need producers like you! People who are willing and courageous enough to step forward with their time, talent, and treasure! Have you ever wanted to be a producer of a concert? Now is that time. I, boo-bury, Mothman of the Minneapocalypse, humbly ask for your support. We would like to rent a lighting package to have onsite for this show. Lighting is my professional background of over a decade, and Frankiepaint (who was on site for the first v4v stream in the Minneapocalypse) will be our lighting designer for this engagement. $0.01 - $32 : Anonymous Associate Producer
$33 - $150 : Associate Executive Producer
$151 and above : Executive Producer
What can you do with these titles? Sleep like the champ you are by knowing your name will appear in the credit roll at the end of the stream acknowledging all the amazing people like you who helped make this a reality. Wanna brag about how fucking clutch you are at the next family get together because now you’re a concert producer? We actively encourage that.
THE BUT:
Wait, there’s more! Often I find myself asking, “yea, but can I do more?”. The answer is…uh…yes. Gonna go out on one of the wildest branches out there. And just, throw this in the wind. I wanna do something that’s extra special to value drive this show to reality. For $250, I will personally build you a RGB led “LIVE IS LIT” on air sign that would have all the necessary parts and software programmed out to react to boost (does require audio set-up at home between web browser and QLC+). The cost of the light box fully operational is $100, and the additional $150 will go towards rental costs. Building and sending out these 15 boxes would fully cover everything! Plus, like, now your studio will light up when a boost comes in! Wow! Incredible! The date is TBD but I plan on livestreaming the build and programming of each one of these, it’s gonna be a 24 hour stream-a-thon (seriously).
